Children's Area

Lilydale Cemeteries Trust has designated areas to pay tribute to the lives lost at a tender age.

Sanctuary Gardens located at Lilydale Memorial Park, is removed from the busier parts of the cemetery and offers a peaceful and special place for reflection.

A central rotunda provides the focus point, overlooking a statue of a mother and child.

The Children's Vine of Remembrance at Lilydale Lawn Cemetery is a place to memorialise a lost child, baby or infant. Memorials take the form of a leaf shaped plaque with a name, date and short epitaph on a winding gold vine set in polished granite.

Children's Haven provides a unique resting place within the Healesville Cemetery to mark the loss of a child.

Children's Christmas Remembrance Services are held at Sanctuary Gardens every year, to give families the opportunity to share this special time with their loved ones.
